Nashville Symphony | David Robertson, conductor | Orli Shaham, piano

Celebrate the launch of our 2025/26 season and the start of our America 250 celebration with a bold and beautiful program led by visionary conductor and composer David Robertson. Experience Dvořák’s beloved “New World” Symphony, inspired by his trip to America in the 1890s when he directed the National Conservatory of Music of America. Gifted pianist Orli Shaham performs the luminous Light forming, a new concerto written especially for her by Robertson. Debussy’s dreamy Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun completes this evocative program of new and familiar worlds.
