Due to scheduling conflicts, the oboe masterclass has been postponed. More information coming soon!

The Nashville Symphony and Black Orchestra Network present the final event in the Kinsfolknem Quartet masterclass series, featuring Nashville Symphony Principal Oboe, Titus Underwood. Performers include students from Nashville-area collegiate programs.

The Kinsfolknem Quartet comprises musicians Titus Underwood, oboe; Anthony McGill, clarinet; Demarre McGill, flute; and Andrew Brady, bassoon.

This event is presented by the Nashville Symphony's Accelerando program in partnership with the Black Orchestral Network (BON).

The Nashville Symphony's Accelerando initiative is an intensive music education program designed to prepare gifted young students from diverse ethnic backgrounds for careers in music at the collegiate level and beyond. Accelerando creates professional opportunities for musicians from ethnic communities underrepresented in today's orchestras by providing instruction, mentorship, performance experiences, and assistance with music school applications. With access to the resources of a major American orchestra, Accelerando students can realize their full potential and become the next generation of orchestral musicians.
