Discover the magic of music and science with members of the Nashville Symphony in this engaging, interactive performance designed for middle school students! Featuring an original composition by Alicia Enstrom, this program explores the science of sound, the use of instruments and technology in music-making, and the creative process behind composing. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with symphony musicians to create their own live, one-of-a-kind musical composition.

This experience is enhanced by a STEAM* curriculum, blending Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to inspire creativity and innovation through the arts.

*STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Expeditions combine arts and sciences through interactive, educational presentations.
